The statue of England’s first black footballer, Arthur Wharton was unveiled at St George’s Park, Darlington on Thursday 16th October 2014 by the Chairman of St George”s Park, David Sheepshanks in front of an audience made up of many players including Chris Ramsey, Les Ferdinand, Chris Houghton and Mo Samba.
